Photo beams. Especially valuable when timing sporting events or manufacturing actions or triggering in difficult conditions, photo beams can trigger a variety of operations of Alzatex, Inc. products.
Many sensors are available for detecting objects and people. Alzatex, Inc. products are compatible with most sensors available from many vendors. A few examples are described here.

Twin Beam Photoelectric Detectors.
- Compact design, indoor/outdoor use.
- Reliably withstands as much as 99% loss of beam energy.
- Two synchronized beams of pulsed infrared energy.
- Maximum arrival distance is 10 times longer than rated operating distance.
Ultrasonic Sensor Features.
U-GAGE® Ultrasonic Sensors
Because ultrasonic sensors use sound waves rather than light, they are ideal for sensing uneven surfaces, liquids, clear objects, and objects in dirty environments.
- Detects clear or transparent material and color variations.
- Senses within a 50 to 500 mm window with a 15 millisecond response time.
- Offers wide operating range of -20° to 60° C.
- Compensates for variations in air temperature.
- Delivers high accuracy in wet or dirty environments.
- Available in encapsulated IP69K models rated for a range of harsh conditions.
- Offers 10 to 30V dc supply voltage with NPN or PNP output, depending on model.
- Features push-button TEACH for easy programming at the sensor or remotely.
- Includes bright LED operating status Indicators visible from 360°.
Vehicle Detection Sensor Features.
M-GAGE™ Vehicle Detection Sensors
M-GAGE vehicle detection sensors reliably detect the presence of large metal objects—such as a car, truck or rail car—even when the vehicle is not in motion.

- Features completely self-contained barrel design with no external controller.
- Replaces inductive loops and amplifiers.
